T was born in Antibes (South of France) 30ish years ago…
T grows up in Paris. Plays basketball and practices diverse martial arts.
T studies literature, linguistics, history, psychology and sociology at University of Paris 8 (BA in Social Sciences).
T then decides to make a move and pass the CELSA-Sorbonne “concours” (Paris). Studies marketing and advertising.
T drops out of his Master and starts working in a boutique ad agency.
He tries a little bit of everything in a couple of ad agencies (strategy, art direction, art buying and photo production). He can’t decide between strategy and creation, he thinks both are totally linked.
At some point, T goes to Mexico and fails – fortunately – a project. He won’t setup the marketing consultancy agency for industrial parks he had in mind…
T moves to NYC in 2006 and found La Boutique, a very successful high-end retouching studio. Clients include brands such as D&G, Swarovski, Puma or Nike, photographers such as Craig McDean, Ryan McGinley, Guy Aroch, Ben Hassett, etc. T works with ad agencies from NYC to SF to London, publishes stories in every possible Vogue in the world, etc.
T keeps on working closely with a few creative directors as an independent art buyer / casting director. His “thing” is to spot the next big talents.
T becomes more and more interested in new technologies and web “2.0”. He invests in 2009 in an amazing startup : Kapitall (an online investing platform for the new generation). Is T a fashion geek with a strong new tech sense or a tech geek with a solid luxury and fashion background ? T is a creative entrepreneur. A curious one.
T still lives in NYC and is working on several projects that can’t be disclosed yet. More to come. A lot more. Stay tuned.
